a portrait of my son, once a week, every week in 2014

Cohen has been requesting to stay in his highchair even after his meal is complete. He likes to stay at the level we are and just play while noel and I finish up our food. we've started making an effort to at least eat our dinners at the same time, instead of waiting till co goes to sleep to start cooking. Not only is it good for our bellies, but I believe it's good to start showing Cohen the importance of being together and sharing a meal as a family. it's also been a prime time to teach table manners. So far, out of all the baby sign language we've taught him, the only one he has done is "please," but it's the cutest please you'll ever hear!
