When Erin reached out and shared in depth about her family, it’s history of artists and how meaningful it would be to capture moments of them in her childhood home, I instantly felt connection and encapsulated into her world. 💫

She shared how she would love to capture the rocking chair of her great grandmother that rocked her grandfather, then her father and now her own little girl. She shared of being able to document them playing and enjoying the beach as she did as a child and being in the space were just a few years ago her husband moved from France and they exchanged vows. Passing through hallways I got even more glimpses into the heart behind this special home as we saw canvases from her grandfather and her mother beautifully painted. 😌

Her hope was truly to capture free and heartfelt photos of this time in their lives enjoying each others company and I truly felt swept away in it all as we did just that.

Cherry on top of this whole evening was enjoying a post session Prosecco with them as we got to chat even more and watch the sunset. ✨ Such a kindred connection with these sweet humans and narrowing down images to ten frames was so hard but I’m sure you’ll see more pop up in time 💛💛
